Shanghai, China, July 26 2021 -- JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (the “Company”, or “JinkoSolar”) (NYSE:JKS), one of the largest and most innovative solar module manufacturers in the world, announced that JinkoSolar together with Solar Z, one of the most influential distributors in Vietnam, will empower the Sai Gon Beer factory rooftop with 2MW Tiger Pro 535W modules in the coming August. As a favorite brewery in Vietnam, Sai Gon Beer Company is taking environmental stewardship and solar solution partner seriously—and it's a model that other breweries in the country could follow. Since the performance and long term reliability of the selected on-site solar system will directly impact how much they save their electricity bill as well as its progress towards sustainable production, Sai Gon Beer trusts Jinkosolar's Tiger Pro.

Brewing beer is a very energy-intensive process. According to a sustainability manual for breweries recently published by the Brewer’s Association, every barrel of beer produced by a brewery requires between 12 and 22 kilowatt-hours of electricity on average.

Gener Miao, CMO of JinkoSolar said, “As the world's leading solar module producer, we are happy to help breweries around the world to look for ways to produce beers in a more environmental-friendly way by going solar. Given that Jinkosolar's Tiger Pro 535W panels are less expensive on a dollar-per-watt basis due to higher energy density and superior durability, breweries could be looking at saving many hundreds of thousands of dollars on avoided electricity costs over the course of their solar panel system's lifetime, usually 25 to 30 years. We believe solar-powered beer taste better, try it."
